VELUX offers a selection of vertical side-hung window elements with tilt and turn. They come as either left or right hinged and are installed vertically directly below a VELUX roof window. It is operated with a handle on the side sash. Frame and sash made of laminated pine wood are finished with triple coat. The exterior of the frame and sash is metal-clad and therefore maintenance-free. The vertical window element is equipped with an insulating glass unit. VELUX also offers side-hung windows for the slope roof which can be used as a craftsman’s roof exit.  The ventilation flap on the top sash allows fresh air to enter the room through a dust and insect filter.
