VELUX offers a wide range of centre-pivoted and operated with a full-width control bar on the ventilation flap of the top sash. The ventilation flap allows fresh air to enter the room through a dust and insect filter.

Windows comes as wooden windows or maintenance free PU windows. Frame and sash of wooden windows are made of laminated pine wood and for the PU windows it is polyurethane moulded around a core of thermally modified timber. The exterior of the frame and sash is metal-clad and therefore maintenance-free. The window is equipped with an insulating glass unit.  The windows are available as manual operation or as remote operation (electric or solar).
