Ventilative cooling workshop at the Clima 2016 Conference
The joint CLIMA 2016 and the 12th REHVA Conference will be held in Aalborg, Denmark on 22-25 May 2016. A specific session dealing with ventilative cooling is organised by venticool in cooperation with IEA EBC Annex 62, the Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre (AIVC) and the QUALICheCK project. The session will take place in Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre meeting room 10, on Tuesday, May 24 from 13:00 to 14:30.
The title of the workshop is: “Perspectives for assessing ventilative cooling potential in Energy Performance regulations” with the objective to discuss the status, needs, and perspectives on developments to consider ventilative cooling in energy performance assessment methods.
The following specific questions will be addressed:
- How is ventilative cooling taken into account in various regulations?
- What are the limits of the various approaches?
- How could we fill gaps between research and regulatory applications?
- What are the research needs?
The session is intended for all stakeholders interested in ventilative cooling solutions and summer comfort issues, including industry, policy makers, practitioners, technicians and scientists.
