23 March 2018, Workshop, Sydney (AU) – Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality and Cooling
The AIVC (Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre) and the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Low Carbon Living warmly invite you to participate in a free, one-day workshop Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality and Cooling in Sydney on Friday 23 March, 2018.
The workshop is presented in collaboration with the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science, The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) and UNSW Built Environment.
Aiming to inform Australian researchers and engineers on recent developments in the field of ventilation technologies, the workshop will give international experts visiting Australia the opportunity to present global research to their local counterparts.
The workshop will showcase research that determines optimum ventilation levels and the development of advanced ventilation technologies to promote comfort, energy conservation and better indoor environmental quality in buildings.
The Ventilation for Indoor Air Quality and Cooling workshop aims to:
- Discuss the optimum use of natural, mechanical and hybrid ventilation technologies to promote health, productivity, IAQ, energy conservation and thermal comfort
- Present the recent achievements in Australia in terms of ventilation technologies
- Provide a forum for international and local experts to discuss the future of ventilation technologies for the building sector
